With all of the media attention that embryonic stem cell research has been getting, WATA created an on-line poll to solicit votes and comments about Wisconsin's role in this much debated technology. WATA's admittedly unscientific on-line poll indicates that 27% of those responding believe Wisconsin has much more technology to offer the world than embryonic stem cell research. 15% indicated that embryonic stem cell research gets too much attention. 14% said that the technology is economically critical for Wisconsin.
